Drove around lake today. Could see ice as far as I could see. South and east side has some rough spots but north and west looked pretty good for most part. Saw open pockets scattered all over also. Checked few spots out of bays. Didn't go far but 1.5-3 inches is what I found.

Nice, I'm going to leave the wheeler home and hopefully walk out if we make some ice the next 2 nights.

I have been out spearing in front of Macs twin bay. 7 to 8 inches in the small bay. Past the point gets a little sketchy with it varying from 3 to 5 inches. South bays had 5 inches a fee days ago but I didn't go out very far.

Was out in Isle bay all day today. Morning bite wasnít half bad, we caught 4 in the morning with 2 being slot fish and 1 went over 26 inches. Made a move to deeper water and didnít catch or mark a walleye for the rest of the day. It was pretty slow day overall.

I was finding anywhere from 4-6" on the NW side of the lake. Was out for an hour and got 5 nice walleye all over 22"
