Looking for tips on local lakes in the area where I could catch a dinner on sunny's midday and then switch out to walleyes for the evening bite, late dec., would be very grateful for any suggestions. Bringing my nephew out for some birthday fun on the ice!

How'd you do? I'm looking for info in the area too. I just bought a place in the area and would like to take my kids out to catch something during the days.
