Wanted to start a thread for ice conditions in the PR area. Does anybody have any reports? Fishable ice by the weekend?

a lot of the smaller or shallower lakes should be good to go I was on 4 inches on some of the bigger ponds and miniature lakes during the second weekend of deer hunting 11/11, and would guess you could walk out on a lot of the mid size lakes by early next week or this weekend. especially the lakes that run dont run north and south

Thanks for the input guys. I will be up at the cabin near Menahga doing some fishing next weekend. I will be sure to report back with conditions and hopefully a good fishing report. Assuming all still in pretty shallow?

per the Delaney's fishing report on Facebook, Fishhook had about 8" going out from the boat ramp on the west side. They said Island had about 9" on the whole lake (I find this crazy as the main lake didn't look like it locked up until about 2 weeks ago, but i could see the west arm having that much), sounded like about 8" on Potato.

Depending on what the day brings, i may try Portage. Will report back if i do.

Did anybody make it out in the area this past weekend? Wondering what the ice conditions are like and if good ice is still being made.

Thanks for the help guys! Looking forward to a safe weekend trip the 15th- 18th and just curious about conditions.

Eyeslayer, we drove by 10th and 11th on sat. I dont know ice thicknesses but there was 1 shack on the very east end of 11th and 1 portable on the south end of the lake. There was a very large open area in the middle of the lake too.
On 10th there were a couple portables out in the middle. 1 guy had a 4 wheeler with a trailer out there too.
