So I'm out on Red and my GPS as well as Navionics App both show I should be in 12fow. I had a spot marked from last year. Set the house down, drilled my holes and my Marcum is showing 8fow (+15" ice thickness) so say 9.5fow. Is the water level of the lake low this year or am I losing my mind?? Slow bit this afternoon. Lost a nice one at the hole and missed 1 other. Pretty certain I'll be moving tomorrow unless tonight is on fire.

They told us when we were up there at first ice that the lake is down 3 feet since 2014. You are not losing your mind!

This explains why last year every hole we drilled was 1.5-2 feet shallower than what we thought it would be. Confused the hell out of us..

Good to know I still have my sanity! Now if only I could get the fish to cooperate. I'm thinking a move to a different depth is in my near future.

Close to 3 feet down. I've been measuring off my dock for the past few years, and this is the 2nd lowest I've seen it.
