We had no problems on Red Lake over New Years when daytime highs were well below 0.

Make sure your cable connections are tight, there is a very low amount of power that goes through it. I've had trouble and had to tighten the connections with a wrench to rectify it.

Mine stopped connecting lil over a season. They told me it's either the circuit board our one of the motors went out. Of course not in warranty. They told me whatever it is send it in with 150 bucks and they will fix or replace it. I just stream my dish account through a hot spot and fire stick now

You can stream Dish/Direct TV through a firestick? Never heard of that now that would save a lot of hassle. I have both and never thought to even try. Do you have to get a certain app on firestick and any tricks to going that route?

Dish anywhere app. It is linked to your dvr at home and can watch recordings also. Pretty sweet no going outside and setting dish up. Uses a lot of data but if u have unlimited phone plan and don't live near the cities they never slow u down
