This is my first year having my own skid house (red door resort), my camera is full of those dinky perch that are keeping the walleyes so fat. My question for you guys is where or what depth to i target to try and find some jumbos I've tried to catch the dinks on camera so the 3 year old can get some action, they wont bite, so was thinking of trying to actually target perch for a few hours and see what we can come up with.

The population on Jumbos is just not there in Mille Lacs to spend much time in targeting them. Been that way for several years. I think you would be better off chasing tullibees.

Rip jig gen is spot on. Buddies get 1-2 every weekend out on the mudflats. At this point in time it reallly needs to be specific times of the year to focus in enough of them in one spot to consistently catch. Otherwise people also get some on deep transitions.

Ok thanks for responses, I'm out on Weimer flat and see a ton of small ones on camera. I will just have to wait for a couple jumbos to come through it sounds like
