Yes they do. I'm on my 2nd season with a 2000 inverter and it's been great, except it doesn't like synthetic oil. Had some blow by that I noticed on the exhaust housing and tripped the oil sensor when running on eco mode. I assume because it uses sling oiling and the lower R's wouldn't throw the oil around to coat the sensor? Either way, I switched to a synthetic blend 5w-30 and its been all good. Great little genny!

Iím pretty sure Ive used nothing but synthetic 5Ė30 oil since I bought mine.
Partly, because I donít want to change you oil every 40 hours, which would be every fishing trip. I havenít noticed any issues yet.

Pretty sure the manual says 100-hour change intervals after first 6 months of service.c63

Even the cheapest of the cheap generators have low oil cutouts. I found out the hard way on that one. I probably shouldn't admit it, but I was trying to be extra cheap and bought a 950 "Homegear" brand inverter generator from amazon. It was like $180. AND it was AWESOME, easy to start, ran for like 8hours on a half gallon of gas, powered my lights, tv, and a small 500W electric space heater no problem. Got exactly 1 year and 2 months of service out of it - had it on URL two weeks ago and it blew up. It's still free, but it won't run because it won't hold oil lol. I suppose that's a good thing. I would guess it had 20-25 hours on it. 1 year warranty, tried pushing it with the company since I only actually used it very little and was only 2 months out of warranty, but no dice. Far as I know, champion, generac, honda and yamaha are all good products. Don't buy a cheap chinese one.
