Don't have fancy new MaRcums but aquaviews are pretty much worthless up there in my experience

I found that even on very clear lakes 20 - 25' is it.

i'm just wondering if it's 3-4' so i could put the camera in one hole and see my jig in the next

Agreed it seems to be less than a foot in big traverse....up in the Canadian north sections the water clarity is allot better.c63

That works. I was talking depth. But yep the way you are talking about works. It can be fun to fish that way. Some days the bite has been so lite that is the only way we caught fish.

Maybe down view a foot or so above will work.Watch out for big pike will shred your cable if they are in aggressive mode.c63

I would not waste your time with it. Know several people that have tried it all to come back saying they could not see anything. Have seen resorts with reports that tell guys to not bother with it. Water is too stained.
