The 2017 season seemed to have a great walleye bite almost everywhere in the state. This season has been less than ideal for the lakes I've been hitting. While most of my lakes are near the Metro or Mille Lacs, just curious if anyone else has had the same thoughts.

Maybe I just forgot how to walleye fish.

I say weather patterns this is the worst I've ever done in a complete ice season. Not one day where I would say theyre on fire by Any means. Just neutral to negative moods all dang year very frustrating

I'm a weekend warrior so I can't give a consistent season report.Maybe some guide that is on the ice daily is tuned into the bite better.Early ice on Millelacs the bite was HOT been dropping off as of late.Bright note caught 7 jumbos again this weekend so we can't complain but sometimes we still do.c63

Do a fishing log and compare catch rates/weather, bait used, dates etc....c63
