Maybe itís just me, but those little annoying perch three years ago are actually becoming table fare. I caught over 40 today in 23 feet of water. There was some sorting, but I ended up with a limit that all was 8-9 inches. I think this is going to become a good perch lake in the upcoming seasons.

Perch fest! I did that a few years back. Cleaned a bunch in that range from out there and cooked them up. Not much meat when all said and done. Wish they were a little fatter.

How is the off road travel out there? Got stuck last Saturday, but wasn't paying attention and drove right into an old house bank and a big drift. Some shoveling and I was on my way again. That was before this last snow.

Yes the filets were pretty small! It was like popcorn perch after they were fried up!

The off road travel is tough out there. Lots of snow and slush is starting to build up. There is a road plowed from the access going all the way to the east side.

Figured I'd throw in a new update. I was out yesterday, travel was fine, just have to watch for banks and drifts. Stay on the gas a little in spots and you should be ok. Landing on the way back looked like a open lake! I was able to drive around it thru the slushy snow.

Caught 50 gills, but not one keeper. Big ones must be out deeper. My go to spots, weren't so go to!

Oh, ice was about 2ft thick in most spots.

Appreciate the update! I haven't fished Beebe much but it sounds like a great place to take my 5year old.

Is the bite pretty consistent throughout the day?

Yeah, you can catch fish out there during the day. Not always the biggest fish!
