Fishing was great.......catching was slow.First trip to Morris point Fred's beds.Nels and chad went over and above the call of duty!Great service.House 10 was clean and well kept.Weather was warm with 30's and low winds.Shiners were about the same catch rate as fatheads.Pink hooks about 3to5 inches off bottom best. This pic of a 27 fatty was caught about 18to20 inches from bottom right before dark.A little better around sunrise than sunset but again it was very SLOW.Not one norsky or perch this trip.23 eyes and sauger combined.2 nice tullibees and a 6 incher that spent a day on a tip-up.Surprisingly not a bite!!!Eagle on 172 cleaning up a carcass. All in all great trip thanks again to Nels and Chad as I now recommend Fred's beds to anyone who asks!c63

Lots of snow drifts and ice chunks under the snow.Without tracks, I think you'll have some major trouble "Off-roading".Be careful good luck fishing is bound to pick up!c63

sounds like our trip Chris! we started off at long point friday in 27' moved friday night after only picking up a couple keepers; we moved to morris, in 29' picked up a couple small keepers; also kept some tullies for the smoker only to find out they were all wormy

I would say offroading with a ATV is doable, especially with 2; we saw a couple out there, we wish we would have brought ours- after you get off the main road the snow was hard packed; just have to be sure to watch out for the jagged ice areas
but I'm also not sure how much snow they just got with this last blast
