I stuck closer to home on Saturday and had a couple of buddies tag along. I set up in 19 FOW and had one friend go 20 feet south of me and another go 20 feet north on the break. I got lucky with my location as the others didn't fair so well. I managed around a dozen fish while the guys only managed 1 each. Not sure what made the difference as they were fishing the same chartreuse frostee spoon tipped with a minnow head and the break was the same up and down. My friend to the south had his share of misses on his dead line but to the north he wasn't even marking fish. I ended up donating my 8 to my good friend who has a wife and 1 year old to bring food home to. I did not begin catching fish until after 7:30 so it was a bit of a later bite as most had packed and left at that point outside of those wheelhouse owners getting their last kicks in. Good fun with good company.

If it doesn't matter who wins or loses, then why do they keep score? Vince Lombardi

Nice bunch of fish. 20 feet away can make a big difference at times, especially in the weeds or near break lines.
