Need some advice

We are heading north up near Tofte next week & I'm wondering if I should bring the waders & fly rod (new to fly fishing) or if we should focus our efforts on inland lakes for walleye-

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I would focus on the inland lakes. The lower parts of the streams on the north shore can be fished with a fly rod. But the upper parts of most streams have too much brush ect. for casting. lot of nice inland lakes that would give you more action. Walleye , smallmouth, pike and more. There are inland trout lakes you could try however. Issabella area has some nice ones. good luck.
