St Croix fishing.

Sunday 9/9 I made it out to the river.

It was 1pm before we got lines wet.

Pulled cranks for about 1.5 hours. 10 - 30 ft. Nothing.

Switched it up to slip bobbers and night crawlers. Same range in depth. That started to produce.

17" Walleye.
21" Cat

Of the water at 7:45pm. We had no headlamps we decided to get out by dark. Next time we will try the night bite for Sturgeon.

That was the first time I fished it so I do not know the water levels are like. It didn't seem high by looking at the shore.

The pillar on the bridge should tell you if you are familiar with the normal levels.
