Black Friday has become an Ice Fishing tradition for. While a lot of people flood to stores to save some money, a buddy and I always seem to head to the lake to catch some fish! This year we hit a Metro Lake with 4" of CLEAR ice for Bluegill and Crappies. It was a blast being able to see them fight right underneath you! We could have done without the waves of rain however.

Curious about the pick you used for removing hooks.

Nice action for a metro lake! Would you be willing to share? You could pm me if you would be so kind!

It was the T2 Toothpick from Cold Snap Outdoors. They are jig savers! I usually have it on a zinger on my jacket but it broke at the end of last season. I need to get another one.

FYI,
those tools are cheaper on the Coldsnap website than Amazon.

Just bought 2.
