I don't have an ATV, so would be dragging portable from shore. Any recommendations on where to go out from to catch walleyes that would be the shortest walk.

If you have a State park pass than Father Hennepin State Park is about the best to get out on the main lake if you are walking.

The park DOES NOT allow any access to the lake by auto, ATV or snowmobile.

Anyone every walk out of Shah Bush Hung Bay landing? Looks like there might be some Rock to Mud transitions within a decent walking distance. I also do not have a wheeler or sled so I'm looking for easy points to walk to. Any help would be appreciated.

It's a great place to walk from with many viable spots. The breakline on the south side of the bay is my favorite. It's less than a half mile walk. Piece of cake in these conditions.

Rocky Reef area, out of the resort or just north on the frontage road up to Subway.

I have walked out of Red Door in the past. About 1/3 of a mile out to first break. Can be good fishing early on. Had luck out of there last year but after they start letting ATV's and sleds out it gets busy.

Look at the Navionics web app for the map information. I think that is what the other uses is using. In the bottom right you can turn on measurement tool.
