Following this as well. was thinking of going up Saturday. Would a snowmobile work for getting around (fan cooled). Not sure if there is any snow at all on the ice or not

on sunday there was about 8" wheelers all over; alot of heaves though; there was also a 8x16 castle out there

there were also a handful of sleds out there, some patches of snow

Was out on Garrison Bay on the 15th. We were on 10 inches of ice, but there were cracks and heaves all over. Had to walk the last 300 yards and leave the wheeler behind. Caught fish from 12 inches to 21 inches.

Today.... 100 yards out from public acces. I didnt look real hard but i didnt see any possible crossings.... i was alone, so i turned around. Was at 5 access from NW to SW and there was A LOT of shady ice... and its 34deg at 8:30 pm... be safe out there !!!
