I've liked the Pflueger Trion reels but am curious what else you guys like out there. What do you use for Walleye? For Panfish?

I use two Pflueger Supreme reels for for summer and winter.

I really like the smoothness of the drag.
I am sure President is fine as well. I use a President on my trolling rod.

To me the drag on the Trion is not as good.

I've had tica reels since I was a teenager 34 now. 3, 4 years ago I needed another one . Sick of transferring one back and forth from my spring ultralight. So I went to Thorne and they were sold out so he recommended the shimano Sahara 500. Well now the woman's reels got upgraded to ticas and I run shimanos now they are so much smoother and drag kicks but

Have a tica cetus on all 6 walleye rods and Shimano siennna on all panfish rods. Love the cetus. Biggest thing is I can go from heated house to outside at even -30 and drag doesn't need to be adjusted.

Big fan of pflueger reels, any pflueger. Not so much of the Jason Mitchell reels.

Tica Cetus, Shimano Sahara, and Pflueger President on my 3 custom walleye rods and they all work wonderfully.
