Going to be heading Up that way this weekend. Any advice? Will fish or pannies or walleyes. Any help would be appreciated.

Everything is lake to lake in the area. Pannies are holding mixed in shallow on some lakes, while they're suspended off breaks or in the basins on other lakes. For the people who've been calling for advice, I've told them all to start shallow and move out. You'll find 'em. The pans are biting rather well, so you should have some luck.

Walleye fishing is almost the same. Some people are fishing very deep, 30-40' of water, and having some luck. Others are sitting on breaks or in shallow toward evening and doing very well. Find a good break and set up for the morn. and/or eve. bite and move out deep during the day. This holds true for Bemidji, Plan, Cass, Pike Bay, etc...

Good luck!

we went out on Bemidji yesterday in 21FOW off a breakline, caught some smaller perch and 4 eyes, kept a 16 and an 18, and through back a 20 and a 10. We were marking fish 345 to 530.
