Good day to be on the big lake. Two buddies made the trip from Blaine early this am. Worth the trip I hope. A PB was had by both Hammonds and myself. They each had their biggest laker, and I had the biggest laker released from my boat. Not bad!

All fish came on spoons. Most on a orange/black spoon Scott picked out, and the rest on different varieties of purple. Lead and copper were the ticket today with nothing on top, and only one on a rigger down 100+. 7 fish hit the deck, 5 will undergo a surgery.

Thanks for making the trip fellas.
