With the water at its crest and starting to decline there needed to be an attempt to make contact with some high water eyes. The key to the day was finding any water with even the slightest difference in water clarity. They were definitely located in slack water next to a significant drop off.

Almost all of the eyes were caught casting cranks. Blades and hair are also starting to be effective. Walleyes were caught through out the day but low light was most productive with the 2 biggest fish eating with just enough light to scoop them into the net. Crappies have also moved shallow.

With the water temp at 56 and dropping techniques will quickly be switching to much slower presentations.
