Anyone been on the lake lately? I heard we got 8 inches of snow up there. Heading up this weekend to the cabin for the the close of walleye season and wondering if I am going to be able to get around off road with my Ranger. Been lucky all year with easy off road travel, I am wondering if our luck has run out. I am betting some pretty good drifts around ridges and old roads, but hoping to still get around if a guy goes slow and avoids the drifts. Any update would be appreciated!!

I received reports from Facebook that there isn't much snow up there. I asked if I could use my snowmobile on the lake and guys said there wasn't enough snow for that. Hope this helps!

Evbballdude21, i believe you have got some bad information. Have skid house up there and been up every weekend, plenty of snow to snowmobile. They got some the other day when we did, they will get this shot of snow tonight like us, and more on Saturday. Travel off the main plowed roads is not easy mostly because of drifts. If look at Red Door Resort camera you can get somewhat idea what slow on lake is like.

Yup, more snow tonight and more again Saturday. Sleds it is! I bet ill have a few flats to myself finally! This easy travel all winter has had people everywhere. I doubt the resorts will be plowing very far with the end of walleye just a few days away.

Chris63, It's a beautiful thing knowing that my house will have its own plowed driveway, espeically because they want me to have it ready to be moved sunday
