Been fishing around the bemidji area on local lakes and have been doing alright especially with having no flasher...

Been out the last week I was getting on the pike just on breaks where ever cabbage was located. Mainly using suckers but at this time of year they will hit almost anything in front of them.

The panfish I have thrown a towel in for since it is to much work and wasted gas in the auger when you don't have a flasher to find them so I have been sticking to eyes.

Walleyes are biting on mainly fatheads along with chubs. Been locating them primarily in 18-21 FOW. Mainly fish on gravel but breaks have been promising as well. Fishing them on a blood hook through the day then switching over to a forage minnow or buckshot once dark hits. Fishing them a good foot off the bottom. Been averaging about 10 eyes a night between 2 guys with being able to pick out your limits.

Pout are biting like crazy at night find some nice gravel and they hit just periodically off of the walleye rigs.

Small eye swallowed hook fyi....

Yep not as bad as bringing a deer in the dorms though lol. moving out onto a local lake this thursday so the dorms will no longer be an issue.

Ahhh those pictures bring back some good memories from my time in the dorms. Let me guess, you cleaned those first fish in the dorm kitchen, then your RA got mad and then made you clean those walleyes and pout in the official cleaning room over in Wallys?

Nice fish!

Surprisingly no, they respect me since I always am having fish frys so they can bum a few pieces of fish. Along with the fact I can put them on fish or throw out advice to them. Sure am thankful I could bring my deer quarters in there.

Nice! Don't set the fire alarm off. I stood outside a couple of times in the cold cuz someone couldn't fry fish correctly.

Not sure if your asking about lake bemidji or lakes in the area.

Lake bemidji from what I hear is 6-7"

Lakes around the area all vary but most I have been on have been 10-12" with a few spots on lakes only having 3-5" so be careful when going out there.
