      Fish dinner for two,took a couple trips out but it’s a nice way to go

          Nice Catch!
          How is the ice on the inland lakes? looking to get out next week but nervous about all of the snow cover.

                Generally seems to be @9″ of good ice w/3-5 slush(in spots) or shelf then anywhere from a few inches to 18″ snow,,, key is to find a snowmobiled trail or old tracks where the slush froze down.
                Stick to the lakes you know, I have been on shallow 2-400 acre lakes, have not seen a whole lot of activity area wise, but a lot of the roadside accesses/parking lots are not plowed.
                Thinking you could get out on some of the bigger popular spots without to much trouble, at least to walk.
                Might be different where you go/are but that’s what I have been walking in. Had a couple good workouts this week ,but it sure is nice to be back on ice! Good Luck and Be Safe
