Sled idles great starts on two pulls. Boggs down when I give it some throttle, doesn’t have power to move. Not sure what to look at. Wondering if this is the stator?
      Any help would be appreciated!!

I think I can also hear a noise sounds like it’s coming from the gas tank

I have a 2000 zl 500 efi. I had a similar issue two years ago. Sled would bog frequentley only when giving it throttle and would idle fine. It ended up being something to do with my throttle position sensor. I bypassed it and the issue went away.
Go on Arctic cat chat and look for sleds with similar issues as yours. They have awesome information on there.
As for if you think its the stator there is a video on youtube on how to test if your stator is bad just by unplugging it from the main wiring harness and using a voltmeter to test resistance values.
            Hope this helps

I have to agree with the TPS sensor as well I have a 2002 800 efi that did the same thing. I wish I would have tried the TPS sensor before I put a control box in it, costly mistake.

Ok, got all the old gas out. Put some seafoam in. I Changed plugs still start easy. When I had the track off the ground it would spin but still bog down. Disconnected the kill switch same issues. Jumped the TPS same issues continue. Any other ideas?

did you get a new stator already? if not, contact Blaine Pertler

                      https://www.outdoor-electric.com/contact.html

Very reasonable prices and fast turn around.
