"Lets Fish It.."May 22, 2015 at 7:20 pm #653158Last night turned out perfect weather wise, but the fishing was slow to say the least. We had to slow troll .6-.8 mph a lindy rig in 10-14′ fow with a 6-8′ snell, and plain hook with leechs to get our bites. Fish wanted it moving so when they bit you had to slow feed it to them while still keeping it moving forward. Had five eyes come in with 11 pike to follow it up. Next week wth bass opening up should really get some points on the board!
Hear are the totals after week two:

"Lets Fish It.."May 29, 2015 at 9:19 pm #653161Switching lakes to eagle last night was a tough call on my part so i do apologise for that. Ive never teamed up with 3 leagues on such a small lake. We made the best we could of it. Last nights fishing was tough with minimal weed growth the fish were scattered wich makes it really hard to narrow down any kind of pattern Our search baits were a husky jerk, and swim jigs. Staying on the edge of the drop offs was key. Casting up into the shallows then giving each a pause made the short striking fish go bananas! Alot of short fish as well. Water temp was 71.5 degrees.

"Lets Fish It.."June 12, 2015 at 7:27 pm #653164Last night we subsituted Ramsey lake for Maple due to another league/tournament. It turned out to be a good call. This lake is a bass fishermans dream if you like milfoil and pocket fishing!!! All of our fish were caught doing this, and we boated close to 30 fish. Weighted wacky rigged senkos, and texas rigged craw tubes dropped into tight pockets. The fish were extremely aggressive this way. Heavy rods were a must to get them out of the cover. The fish on this lake are very healthy, and just plain fat!! One team had a 18 7/8″ largy come in that i bet would have tipped the scale at 5#’s.

Seems like you have to stay in current areas, slop, foil, or deep weeds (if you can find them). We found a few here and there in those areas. Flipping jigs, tubes, and frogs all worked for us.
