Spent the afternoon into the evening on the water yesterday. Couldn’t have asked for better weather! Managed a nice mixed bag of action. Started fishing slip bobbers with leeches in 8-9 FOW in dense cabbage patches but struck out. Went to pulling shad raps in 10-12 FOW at 2.5 MPH and plucked a quick largemouth followed by a a young walleye. Switched to pulling a bottom bouncer with a perch pattern flat rap in 18 – 20 FOW at 1.5 MPH and managed a couple healthy pike that really smoked it! Closed the day out switching back to shad raps and hit a lone crappie. Not a bad way to burn some time on a Saturday!
