      I am heading to the Ashland area to hopefully do a bit of fishing on Lake Superior for the first time. Does anyone have any tips or advise they would be willing to share? I think we will be mostly hoping to get some salmon and lake trout.

        wish I could have offed you some advise but it looks like I am much too late. looks like all of wisconsin side of this forum is slow. I was hoping to get some insight on fishing at a lake we just bought a cabin on near three lakes area.

        How do you catch em? .."Like this".

          This is an old thread but does anyone know the ice conditions on Lake Superior near Ashland?
