If you’re inquiring about the convenience store on the north end at the roundabout, it is referred to as The Outpost. The owner is a former Walleye Trail Tournament angler, he has good bait and tries to keep a decent selection of tackle, he just doesn’t have the buying power of high volume to keep prices down. He also carries a few electronics. The best selection and prices in Hutchinson is Running’s.

Politicians are like diapers, they need changed frequently.

Home is where the story begins.

Life is too short already, why go through it in a hurry.
It's only wierd if it doesn't work.

The Bobberstop is located about 4 miles, give or take, north of Hutch. It’s right off Hwy 15 on the east side. He has a sign out front shaped like a bobber. He’s got a nice little set up there. I would say his inventory is on the small side but he’s got the basics covered for sure. However, last spring I was looking for an item and couldn’t find it any where locally and he did have it. When your up the Hutch way, make a little extra time and give him a visit.

Rick at The Bobber Stop is great. I’ve called in specific bait orders a couple times, and he made sure that when I stopped in, it was there. I try to make all my bait purchases there.

One day I was asking about the rods he carried, and he sold me on giving one a try. However, I was in the market for an 8 ft casting rod for muskie, which he didn’t have on hand. Next time I went there, he had one. If you want something, he’ll do his best to find it for you.

won’t spend a penny there anymore. Been treated poorly twice. I’ll drive to Canada before I ever go there
