I spent the weekend at a friend’s cabin on Cedar lake between Deerwood and Aitkin. I fished a bay on the west side of the lake. Every hole we drilled was between 7 and 8 inches thick, but we stayed pretty close to shore, as that lake is known for its springs. Found some panfish a foot or two off the bottom at 27′.
