      Any update on ice on West Rush? Walkable?

        I asked Rush Point Store on their FB page, and they said since the snow the ice “sucks”

        Update from what was posted Monday!!

        From their page posted yesterday:

          Drove around pokegama just north of there. Looked like half the lake either sank with the snow or was open. Drove around Thursday. No signs of anyone out. Post back if you walked out on rush. It is getting close I am giving it one more weekend.

            We’ll be making some real ice starting Tuesday and then it looks like good ice making weather for a long stretch .

            I’ll be waiting until after this cold stretch. Be safe if you are walking out!

              ICE REPORT: We are hearing reports of roughly 4 inches from the west access to cigar island. There are spots with more, but nobody has found anything under 4 inches that has reported. People are walking out of the north access and flickabirds for east rush lake with reports of 4+ inches as well. Happy Sunday!

People are walking out of the north access and flickabirds for east rush lake with reports of 4+ inches as well. Happy Sunday!

                    Newest that I found was three days ago on the Rush Point Store FB page.

                    Jamie Wilson There is some pretty deep water / slush pockets on east rush. we found spots by the public access with 5 inches of ice and about 5 inches of water and snow where it was almost completely frozen together it was closer to 7 inches of ice

                      I was on East Rush Sunday. I was shocked how bad it was. About 4″ of ice with about 4″ of water and slush, 4″ of snow on top of that. Some areas have bad shelf ice. Walking or snowmobile would be the only options. It’s going to be a tough year…. <img decoding=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

                          Rush Point Store today’s FB update

                          ICE REPORT: The west public access still has 4 to 8 inches. Most of the slush seems frozen. The bite is on! Happy New Year!

                            ICE REPORT! 9 to 15 inches off the west access, small cars/vehicles have been driving out. Hope you all have a great day!
