We have a group of 4-5 people that take one trip together a year. We want to catch fish but also like comfort, so looking for permanent houses only. Looking to see if anyone has a resort recommendation that has lodging (cabins) and permanent day houses. Hoping for walleyes and perch.

      Thanks all!

best bet for rental houses is Woodland resort on Creel Bay early season is best, word is the resort gets lazy later in the season slow moving houses to new locations, also check in with the casino they have a guide service and might give you other options on skid houses.

We opt to stay in town at motels then “run n gun” to an assortment of locations to fish, great lake killer walleye population you will not be dissapointed. do some research with contour mapping data its available to download old gravel roads now under water and flooded fenceline structure are key points of interest flooded rock piles are a diamond in the rough if you find them, jumbo perch, walleye and pike gravitate to these locations.
