Haven’t had too much luck on the Croix in the fall but nonetheless I always go back to give it a shot when I get tired of the lakes. Anyhow we got out around 1:30 and fished until 5. Caught one really nice walleye and one crappie south of the 94 bridge in about 25-30 FOW on pike suckers. Marked a ton of fish off the breaks but couldn’t get em to bite. Saw about 4-5 other boats trolling and dragging but didn’t seem like they had much action either. I used to fish North of Stillwater in the fall but I never had much luck up there either. May have to try this again and see if we can catch more of the ones I marked.
