      I was wondering if there is any areas to avoid on this lake if driving out? Is the ice typically pretty consistent??

          I was out last weekend, drove everywhere drilling holes. never found less than 23 inches

                After the recent snow, travel is pretty tough with vehicles. The warm weather this week should knock the snow down, but it will probably make things pretty crusty.

                  This is our first year with skid house on Mille Lacs at the Red Door, now that it is on land I plan on staying in it and trying some of the lakes in area for panfish. So many lakes around I’m not quite sure where to start.
