      Little guessing on what date you guys think Mille Lacs will get the first walkable ice. Obviously it is always in the south bays, but i am going with the day after Thanksgiving.

        Last year I was on the north end by the 2nd week of December. December 17th we had approx 8 inches..

          Let me first say…I love ice fishing. I was on the ice last season more than ever. BUT, I believe we are going to have a warmer than normal November.

          I wouldn’t expect to be out on Mille Lacs much less any other Central MN lake much before the 2nd weekend in December.

          BTW—I personally will not hit Mille Lacs until it is fully frozen, but that’s just me.
