What are everyone’s plans for Fishing Opener 2021? I will be heading up to the Rainy River for the fourth consecutive year now. It will be interesting to see how things turn out this year given the lower water levels and super early ice out.

I’m retired so I’ll wait till Wed. after the opener then hit Lake Reno.

Camping at Leech’s Fed Damn campground with close family friends. Do that every year since we sold the cabin.

We rarely make it out fishing due to the weather. Thought we would be smart and go the weekend after opener. It is usually better weatherand would be less packed. But the DNR had their own ideas this year.

            Good luck everyone.

Was thinking of fishing East Rush sometime after opener……but Rush Lake Resort is now a bare lot.

Yeah, I guess it has been that long since I drove by LOL

Willmar area for me. Little bit of golf, friends, and probably mostly crappie fishing since that always seems to be more productive than walleyes for us.
