I’ve been out of town but still have all my ice fishing stuff out and ready to go…. are the lakes around the cities even fishable anymore or did the warm stretch kill it? Would be nice to get out 1 more time this weekend!

I was out on the 10th and the accesses were quite beat up and pulled away with water. I did manage to skirt around it and get on, by walking. The rain is what did the most damage. I would say they are non fishable/borderline. Best bet would be to check out your particular lake and bring the spud, as there are sure to be some soft spots.

walked directly on from the beach no wet feet
