Open water for me… after the ice gets really thick I hat moving it’s just so much work when you have a couple kids and the wife and I. In the boat it’s simply start the motor move to a new spot and everyone can just start fishing, no spending an hour drilling, setting new depths and the house. I can’t afford a vex for everyoneand I’m just more successful on the open water. Did I mention it’s not as cold?
Awaiting the next bite...
