I’ve heard some folks are driving trucks. Can you all reply with some ice thickness reports? Visiting the area for a few days and my fishing buddy is unable to walk a long distance.

      Thank you!!

I heard there were a few tandems out on big Detroit. Other than that, I haven’t heard much for ice reports. Should be nearing 12″ by now with more to come in the next week with colder temps.

I would call some bait shops and see if they are willing to provide any info.

No one wants to be the guy that said it was ok & then someone goes through. I will say most lakes are now drivable for 1/2 ton trucks pulling wheelhouses. 12-13″. However stay away from moving water (inlets, outlets) and pressure ridges. Hope this helps & good luck out there.
