      Never have really targeted smallmouth, we are taking houseboat trip into Canada (hopefully). If you could only bring one rod, one spool of line and one lure, what would they be?

        7′ mh baitcaster with 14# mono. Mepps for a lure.

        It will cover you for Bass & Pike.
