Fish quite a bit more active yesterday,,, once the lines were switched to a Lindy 1/8oz glow spoon w/red glow stick, dead stick used red 1/8 oz tear drop/red treble hook/both tipped with full rainbow/shiners mix from FREDS BAIT.
36′ deep, surprisingly to me was it was a pretty close 50/50 split walleye/sauger day. nothing huge but steady from @11:30-3:00. Pulled a couple nice slot fish off the bottom although a majority of the walleye were caught reeling up when they came by at 4′ to 8′ off the bottom.
Lost quite a few half way/bottom of ice. Surely my hook set skill needs some more edjamakateiing.
Coldest road trip ever this morning for me. As always for whatever reason it’s memorable every single time. good luck/be safe.
