Last time I was on the lake the wiring on my Lowrance GPS started smoking and burnt up between the display and the receiver. I am assuming there was a bad connection, and the fuse was faulty. Good news is that Lowrance is replacing the entire unit. Bad news is that I have to wait 2 weeks.

Usually you would hook the red wire to the red and the black to the black <img decoding=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />
usually 4-6 weeks on turn around time that is what I have experienced.
        Keep us posted.

4 weeks sounds about right as its been at the dealer for 2 weeks for Lowrance to process & approve the claim.

Lowrance stands behind their products 100% from my experience. Good to hear you are getting it resolved. Anytime I have had issues, they are quick to fix and usually replace with a brand new unit.

I dont think there was anything wrong with the unit, but they are replacing everything anyway.
