In the spirit of posting instead of just viewing others’ posts, I thought I would add a few pictures from a recent trip “up north”. By no means were we catching fish left and right, but it was a consistent bite. Most of our fishing was for panfish using crappie minnows to keep the kids entertained. We were even able to find some bonus largemouth jumping into the boat in the afternoon hours.
It was great to get out and teach my boys some fishing techniques (even better when they worked!) and more about conservation and preserving our great waters. We sometimes take for granted that we usually live within just a short drive to any body of water with fish in it. What a great place to live!
