Friday-Sunday I am fishing Mille Lacs with Pete. We decided not to drive another 250 miles to get blown off of LOW when we can do it closer to home.

Where is everyone heading out of? We will be fishing without a gps/locator as it hasnt come back yet from Lowrance. Whatever we end up doing, its going to be tricky.

Head over to the west side and follow the traffic and you should be OK

This time of year you don’t need a gps just follow the boats… stay in sight of shore you should be o.k.

Just be careful if you don’t have a locator. It get’s shallow on some of the reefs and points. You can get fish out away from them a bit and on shorelines, but you will hit if you get too close in some places.

Good luck, after this cold moves through the water temps should be right for it to really take off. As if it isn’t good enough already.

            Let's GET EM!

                      Mike,

Not sure if you have a transducer that will work, but I have an X91 on the bow that you are more than welcome to borrow. If you can use it, just give me a call, I will be up there in the afternoon on Sat. cell phone # 763-226-6821
