Thanks Castaway! It was a great night. It was everything that I have always heard about cranking Mille Lacs in the fall. Worst part is not taking today off and getting some rest (After getting home around 2 am and sleeping about 3 1/2 hours, I’m getting ready for work right now. A little tired) Yeah, I’ll post a few pics later in the day.
Water temp was 42-43.A couple things I noticed last night was these fish arent eating YOY perch like I thought. They are targeting small minnows and Im not quite sure what they are but they are thick as I hooked some on a crank bait.Maybe small lake shiners?Greg should be able to verify this as they took 8 fish home to clean. But what worked for us last night was running shallow, slow speeds and not much line out.I think Greg was pulling fish out of the prop wash as I ran the main motor with a drift sock out.
More Schnapps SWEET ” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> Sure was tastey last night.
Greg I emailed you the rest of the pictures.Good to see you guys made it home safely. How many times did Matt say awesome on the way home ” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Looks like Castaway Guide Service did it again!!! Great fish and great to hear another enjoyable night on the Pond.
I bet it was beautiful out there last night, I know the Red River just turned to glass after the wind went away in the evening and it was a enjoyable night there as well.
