We saw 54-55 degrees on the main lake this past weekend.

With an 18″-23″ release structure on the Walleyes what are people coming across for some eaters? Recent catches?

You would be lucky to catch 1 out of 25 or 30 for eaters out there. Fished it opener

That sounds discouraging…guess the fun is catching bigger fish and releasing them? Be nice to get a meal or two though. Gopher02, did you fish the opener? Any 14″-16″er’s?

We did fish opener on Winnie. We didn’t see a fish caught under 20 inches.

I also fished opener, saw nothing but big fish caught, non under 17 in the cleaning house. out of 4 boats we had 2 fish between 17-18 thru Mon. had to keep a few fish over 23 for a fish fry, but we did snag 20 or so perch over 10 in. nice weather though.

I hope the lack of fish under 17 isn’t a sign of bad things to come.

Tues. we fished another lake in the area and picked up 15 nice eaters to salvage the weekend.

Almost seems to be the way biggest, popular lakes are getting to be,CNR.

Are you getting good numbers of fish?

On Winnie, No one here one there of the big fish. but you will waste alot of bait on perch and small slimmers(northerns).
                        pretty sad really.
