Counted 8 boats at the confluence of the Mississippi/Minnesota today. Everyone was fishing the Mississippi channel between the tip of Pike’s and the right ascending bank below the wing dam there. Very little ice spotted in the river but it is up and moving.
Sorry, I did not have time to go check North Gate but I’m guessing the launch is probably in decent shape with the recent melt. Didn’t see anyone motoring upriver from 494 or Lilydale, but did see one boat coming down so guessing Hidden Falls.
