We found a few but not as good as it was a few weeks back. 29 was the biggest. Good to get a big gal in the boat. Not that catching 23 to 25″ walleyes isnt fun but after a while its time to look for bigger fish. Lots of hungry fish out there right now. Watching the water levels this morning from yesterdays rain. Dont think it will do much. Maybe come up a foot. Weekends weather should keep plenty of people off the river.

Community spots are the confluence, dam and airport. Fish are just about everywhere. Side imaging is a huge help in locating the ones laying in the dunes. You will never see them with regular down imaging.

Was it slow for others this weekend too?

I’m new to the walleye fishing on the river but I tried vertical jigging at the confluence, and the dam. No bites, could have just been me though.
