All our roads are open after the snow fall !
We have access open to Resort, Weimer, Bombeck, Fish house, Elleens, Pantry, Fletcher, Bitcher and the northend of Backer Flats. And the shoreline break east and west of the resort.

With the walleye season ending on 2-22-15
we will start to pull houses on 2-22-15
*** all houses must be blocked and un-banked***

all houses have to be off Mille Lacs Lake by 3/2/15

With the 5″ of snow can you move around off the roads or is it limited to road passage? How accessible is the lake, we’ve been pretty spoiled with mobility this year? I’ll see you this weekend.

I think you will be fine getting off the roads….but driving cross country maybe a bit more difficult than in the past! You may not see the big deeper drifts before your in them and stuck. If you would go slow and pick your path…you maybe alright….

How is the off-road travel with trucks now? Are the drifts manageable?

A little more drifting….if your carefull and watch where your driving you can go pretty much anywhere with a 4×4

There are some variables…like whether the houses are unbanked and blocked?
Good part of a week to get them off and places in their spots.

I’m looking forward to end of the season…….

                          Bobber,

A group of buddies and myself are coming up and staying in 2 of your sleeper houses Friday night through Sunday morning. Just wondering how fishing has been and anything that has been working better than others out there. We have fished Mille Lacs quite a bit in the past but very limited experience on the North end. Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

its been pretty quite on the lake..cold and winds. Last weekend we had a few fish being caught, slow for the most part…not much to report as to what other than that.

That is pretty much what we figured, hopefully be able to entice a couple anyway.
