      Anybody know what’s the current ice condition for lake shetek? Heading there this weekend a report on ice/fish would be nice…thanks.

          The ice is probably melted Kirk but yes I did. The ice was 10-12″ thick. Pretty soft ice though, walked out there and it seems to be less ice as I got towards the middle of the lake. Didn’t mark any fish at all, maybe I’ll try again early ice or next year.

              Looking forward to fishing Shetek coming up pretty soon! Does anyone fish below the Currie Dam (Outlet of Shetek) on the Des Moines River?

              Also, thinking about giving it a go during opener. Lots of good looking spots to try.

                  haha Firetiger I was guessing there was a good chance of having plenty of them around. Never done it but sounds like a blast! Need a bowfishing set up for my bow.
